  • Rent the One-Eighty Party Trailer

Since 2002, One-Eighty has been in the business of building bridges in our community. One of the centerpieces of our programming is our “Intentional Neighboring" Program. We’ve moved One-Eighty staff into neighborhoods identified by Lodi PD as underserved and in need of help. These staff members build relationships, intentionally reaching out to folks from diverse backgrounds, in order to build stronger and more resilient communities. We’ve seen huge success with these efforts, with joy, hope, and transformation taking place both in the neighborhoods and in the lives of our Intentional Neighbors themselves. It got us thinking… why can’t every follower of Jesus see themselves as an “intentional neighbor?” After all, Jesus' first miracle was a party (John 2), and the first time Jesus sent out his disciples, he sent them with specific instructions to enter new houses, eat together with people, bring healing where they are hurting, and (only after all this is happening) proclaim that the Kingdom of God has come near (Luke 10). The Party Trailer was designed as a way for you to begin doing something similar. So by all means, use it to throw a great birthday party or other fun events for friends and family, but also bring in people you don’t know. Get to know them, love them, and give and receive grace and peace with them. We believe that when Jesus’ followers invite others into their lives, good things happen. The Gospel becomes very real, and our city becomes a much better place. Serving our City, The One-Eighty Team

  • February 2024

Hey One-Eighty Family! These past two months, we’ve been working on several exciting projects. We’ve shared with you that in recent years, One-Eighty has received an influx of inquiries about our organization, specifically from individuals and groups looking to learn from our work so that they can create similar movements in their own communities. Some of these groups want to start teen centers, others are looking to form partnerships with their local schools, still others see potential impact in their struggling neighborhoods through intentional neighboring. We’ve had inquiries from Sacramento, Stockton and Manteca, from Washington and Georgia… we’ve even fielded questions and offered advice to folks from as far away as Tanzania.... (Click the PDF below to see all that we are up to!) Click the link below to read our February 2024 Newsletter! Adventures It has been our observation over the years that the most powerful way to form transformative relationships is through shared experience. We are taking that shared experience to the next level. Taking kids outside their normal environment to see a world that's bigger than the one they know. We stand behind the idea that sometimes a little fresh air can clear up life's foggiest of matters, and only in nature can you really discover how far you can go, finding then that you can go a little further. Some of life's greatest views come at the end of the hardest of climbs. Go for it! We're with you! Trips will include Monterey Bay, the Tahoe Basin, Yosemite, and Humboldt Redwoods State Park, and are offered free of charge to qualified individuals. Wilderness Expeditions The One-Eighty Wilderness Treks takes things to the “next level.” These multi-day, backcountry adventures are designed to develop life and leadership skills for young people ready to accept challenges, test their limits, and overcome obstacles. We will put on our backpacks and head into God’s wild places. We will build trust, self-awareness, goal-setting, communication, and productive life skills. We won’t be the same when we get home. *The Wilderness Experience isn’t limited to One-Eighty’s program. Contact us if you are interested in a customized experience for your group.
