Dear Support Team,  There’s nothing like a big surprise to put a smile on your face.  Last week, 111 guests attended the One-Eighty Counseling & Resources fundraiser, and it ended with a surprise tour of our newest counseling center. To be fair, we are only in escrow. Nothing is for certain. But walking a few feet from the Teen Center into the steps of what will probably be our counseling center is nothing short of a miracle. Let’s start at the beginning . .. (Click the PDF to read the rest!) Thank you for your love and support. The One-Eighty Staff

  • January 2026

Dear Support Team,  As you have most likely heard by now, One-Eighty Programs has started a brand new “gap year” type program for young adults called “The Central Street Residency.” This program is designed to give students an unprecedented opportunity to grow physically, mentally, and spiritually while doing life on mission with One-Eighty Programs.  We’re halfway through our pilot year of this program and we’re already seeing results we never imagined. Each of our three residents have taken to their task, demonstrating a deep commitment to their journey here and a passion for the kids and neighborhood that only seems to grow deeper with each passing week. They’ve faced enormous challenges, some of which we’ve already shared about in these letters. Real danger has always lurked in the neighborhood, with local gangs posturing and exchanging gunfire on our residents’ corner. .. (Click the PDF to read the rest!) • December 2025

Dear Support Team,  It’s currently 11:43 AM on December 12th, and Alison & I would like to share our last 24 hours with you.  Yesterday at this time, we were meeting with a local high school principal. We were excited to share about our counseling services and the One-Eighty Central Residency, which is just about 6 months into its pilot year. It is a small Christian school that sits about a mile south of our campus on the same street. As we sat and swapped stories of the beauty and brokenness of our shared neighborhood, we couldn’t help but feel that God has taken a special interest in the Central Avenue corridor. It was a successful meeting—we’re now looking forward to providing mental health resources to the campus, offering our one-year internship to graduating seniors, and working together to bring hope to the East side.  (Click the PDF for the full story and more!) Thank you for your love and support. Merry Christmas, The One-Eighty Staff

  • Kingdom Community | 180lodi

We are a fellowship of Christians on mission. Get your Podcast Here About Kingdom Community Simply put, Kingdom Community is a fellowship of Christians on mission. We exist to stoke the passion of the people of God, and then empower, equip, and release them to bring healing and restoration to this city. KC PRAXIS F.A.Q.'s Can I just come to the larger KC gathering without joining a Kingdom community group? Of course! The big gathering is there in part as a way for new people to connect. At the same time, we believe that the real action of the church is found when it is on mission. We hope the big gathering will inspire you, set a fire under you, and launch you. We hope you will quickly find and connect to a KC group, or even form a new one. As one of our core leaders recently said, "We exist to tell people they have permission to do great things!" Are Children welcome at kc praxis gatherings? Yes! Not only are they welcome, but we believe that children are a vital part of our mission. We love the sounds of children’s voices in all our gatherings, large or small. We understand that some parents need options for childcare, so we would like to provide that to you. Come a bit early to get your kiddo(s) acclimated. Let us know if you need anything. Do I have to leave my church to be part of Kingdom Community? Not at all. Most of the people that are a part of Kingdom Community are a part of already-established churches. There are many wonderful expressions of the Church in our city, and we do not exist to compete with them. We’re here to serve the local Church by encouraging and inspiring its people to find and pursue their calling to mission. If we accomplish our purpose, people won’t be leaving their church for a new one… new disciples will be made and our churches will benefit and grow. At the same time, some folks have found that the Kingdom Community has become their main place of Christian fellowship, and that’s OK with us as well. Our desire is to be a community of high creativity and low control, so we will not put limits on how people could/might experience it. How is a KC group different than other church small groups? KC’s are all about mission. The people meeting together in a KC aren’t meeting primarily for Bible study, close fellowship, and prayer. Those things are vital, but for a KC they serve the purpose of equipping the members of the group for the forward advancement of the Kingdom of God. This will, of course, work out in unique ways for each KC. Some groups gather around a shared vocation—for instance, one group is forming because all its members are educators who have the desire to work out the unique intricacies of living and sharing the Good News of Jesus in that environment. Other groups are gathered around a more specific mission—like the KC that is forming to establish a low-income preschool, or the ones that will support and equip neighborhood missionaries in Lodi’s Heritage District. Donate to Kingdom Community 90% of our donations are used to bless people and circumstances in the community - the remaining 10% goes to overhead costs. We firmly believe in the full giftings of the body being represented equally around the leadership table, none higher than others, all working together and incomplete without the other. Our leadership is comprised of people who have followed Jesus in the local and global setting, everyone on mission to see their city transformed. We firmly believe in servant leadership, and our commitment is to equipping and mobilizing the Church to live out the Gospel. Donate Now
