  • One-Eighty | Party Trailer

rent The One-Eighty's party trailer COMPLETE YOUR RESERVATION! The Party Trailer is free to use for anyone in the community. Our only “cost” is that you would step outside your comfort zone a little, and use the party trailer as a way to invite folks from your neighborhood--hopefully, someone new that you don’t know. Since 2002 One-Eighty has been in the business of building bridges in our community. One of the centerpieces of our programming is our “Intentional Neighboring" Program. We’ve moved One-Eighty staff into neighborhoods identified by Lodi PD as underserved and in need of help. These staff members build relationships, intentionally reaching out to folks from diverse backgrounds, in order to build stronger and more resilient communities. We’ve seen huge success with these efforts, with joy, hope, and transformation taking place both in the neighborhoods and in the lives of our Intentional Neighbors themselves. It got us thinking… why can’t every follower of Jesus see themselves as an “intentional neighbor?” After all, Jesus' first miracle was a party (John 2), and the first time Jesus sent out his disciples, he sent them with specific instructions to enter new houses, eat together with people, bring healing where they are hurting, and (only after all this is happening) proclaim that the Kingdom of God has come near (Luke 10). The Party Trailer was designed as a way for you to begin doing something similar. So by all means, use it to throw a great birthday party or other fun events for friends and family, but also bring in people you don’t know. Get to know them, love them, and give and receive grace and peace with them. We believe that when Jesus’ followers invite others into their lives, good things happen. The Gospel becomes very real, and our city becomes a much better place. Serving our City, The One-Eighty Team P.S. Here is the less important "fine-print" : Once you’ve reserved your Party Trailer date with our admin, someone from our team will reach out to you with a pick-up time and instructions for use. There are handy instructions for clean-up inside the trailer door. We ask that you return everything clean and nice, and if you use up the gasoline or propane, you replace it for the next party. If something breaks or is damaged, no worries. We will fix it. Just make sure to let us know.

  • Kingdom Community | 180lodi

We are a fellowship of Christians on mission. Get your Podcast Here About Kingdom Community Simply put, Kingdom Community is a fellowship of Christians on mission. We exist to stoke the passion of the people of God, and then empower, equip, and release them to bring healing and restoration to this city. KC PRAXIS F.A.Q.'s Can I just come to the larger KC gathering without joining a Kingdom community group? Of course! The big gathering is there in part as a way for new people to connect. At the same time, we believe that the real action of the church is found when it is on mission. We hope the big gathering will inspire you, set a fire under you, and launch you. We hope you will quickly find and connect to a KC group, or even form a new one. As one of our core leaders recently said, "We exist to tell people they have permission to do great things!" Are Children welcome at kc praxis gatherings? Yes! Not only are they welcome, but we believe that children are a vital part of our mission. We love the sounds of children’s voices in all our gatherings, large or small. We understand that some parents need options for childcare, so we would like to provide that to you. Come a bit early to get your kiddo(s) acclimated. Let us know if you need anything. Do I have to leave my church to be part of Kingdom Community? Not at all. Most of the people that are a part of Kingdom Community are a part of already-established churches. There are many wonderful expressions of the Church in our city, and we do not exist to compete with them. We’re here to serve the local Church by encouraging and inspiring its people to find and pursue their calling to mission. If we accomplish our purpose, people won’t be leaving their church for a new one… new disciples will be made and our churches will benefit and grow. At the same time, some folks have found that the Kingdom Community has become their main place of Christian fellowship, and that’s OK with us as well. Our desire is to be a community of high creativity and low control, so we will not put limits on how people could/might experience it. How is a KC group different than other church small groups? KC’s are all about mission. The people meeting together in a KC aren’t meeting primarily for Bible study, close fellowship, and prayer. Those things are vital, but for a KC they serve the purpose of equipping the members of the group for the forward advancement of the Kingdom of God. This will, of course, work out in unique ways for each KC. Some groups gather around a shared vocation—for instance, one group is forming because all its members are educators who have the desire to work out the unique intricacies of living and sharing the Good News of Jesus in that environment. Other groups are gathered around a more specific mission—like the KC that is forming to establish a low-income preschool, or the ones that will support and equip neighborhood missionaries in Lodi’s Heritage District. We firmly believe in the full giftings of the body being represented equally around the leadership table, none higher than others, all working together and incomplete without the other. Our leadership is comprised of people who have followed Jesus in the local and global setting, everyone on mission to see their city transformed. We firmly believe in servant leadership, and our commitment is to equipping and mobilizing the Church to live out the Gospel. Donate Now
